Bryan Fuhr

Bryan Fuhr received his education at Cornell University, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. In 1996, Bryan Fuhr completed his education at the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. Beginning his professional career with American Express Company as a Senior Brand Manager, Bryan Fuhr achieved extensive experience managing consumer advertising and product development programs. Notably, Bryan Fuhr was responsible for establishing a digital advertising channel for American Express Platinum Cardmembers. Bryan Fuhr was also instrumental in creating concepts for Blue from American Express, which became the company’s largest credit card launch to date. In 1999, Bryan Fuhr became a Marketing Strategist for Scient Corporation. Helping industry leaders develop an online presence, Bryan Fuhr worked closely with well-established companies such as MetLife, Inc., Lucent Technologies (now Alcatel-Lucent USA Inc.), and Johnson & Johnson. Bryan Fuhr joined Ogilvy & Mather in 2003 as a Partner and Associate Director of Strategy, where he continued to successfully develop brands through digital outlets, working with companies such as Eastman Kodak Company, Yahoo! Inc., and Pfizer, Inc. Bryan Fuhr founded League, a digital concept studio, in 2006, and provided comprehensive services of strategic development for numerous advertising agencies for two years. Bryan Fuhr then went on to serve as Director of Strategy for AKQA Inc., where he established and lead a strategic planning department and work with clients such as Motorola, Inc., and Benjamin Moore & Co. until his recent departure. Currently, Bryan Fuhr shares his wealth of knowledge as a Professor of Digital Marketing at New York University.
